Structured PTFE with Silica

Structured PTFE with Silica

Description

Structured PTFE with Silica is a high performance, silica filled PTFE sheet material designed for use with strong acids, solvents, hydrocarbons, and other aggressive media. It is withstands a wide range of chemicals for extended service in a wide variety of applications.

Specification

  • PH :  0-14(except molten alkali metals or elemental fluorine)

  • Recommended temperature range :  -210°C (-346°F) to +260°C (+500°F)

                                                                 material heat resistant up to +315°C (+600°F)

  • Pressure range :  vacuum up to 80bar (1200psi) depending on the installation situation

  • Physiologically inert  :  physiologically harmless in all recommended applications

  • Density  :  2,20 g/cm³ ± 0,25 g/cm³

  • Color :  brown

Advantages

  • Reduced creep relaxation;

  • Chemical resistant;

  • Cost saving;

  • Tighter seal.

  • Modified PTFE sheets improved performance over conventional PTFE, Reduced product loss and emissions. Excellent bolt torque retention, unique manufacturing process minimizes cold flow problems typical of skived and expanded PTFE Sheets. Withstands a wide range of chemicals for extended service life in a wide variety of applications.

Industries

  • Corrosion-resistant lining of steel parts

  • Valves and pipes

  • Gaskets requiring low deformation under load

  • Improved Weldability lends well to semiconductor applications

  • Carriers for silicon wafers and flat panel displays
